Privacy Policy

The short version: Nenapo doesn’t collect your data. Everything you enter — your stores, your grocery items, your shopping history — stays on your device.

What Nenapo collects

Nothing. Nenapo has no account system, no sign-in, and no servers of its own. Nenapo does not use analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting services, and does not integrate any third-party software development kit (SDK).

Where your data lives

Everything you add to Nenapo — stores, grocery items, shopping sessions, purchase history, corrections, and settings — is stored locally on your device using Apple’s on-device database technology. It is never transmitted anywhere. If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it.

Microphone and Speech Recognition

Nenapo asks for microphone and speech-recognition access so you can add grocery items by speaking them. Audio is processed to produce text (using Apple’s on-device or system speech recognition) and is not stored as audio, and is not sent to Nenapo or any third party. You can deny this permission and use typed entry instead — every feature remains available without it.

Location

Nenapo’s Settings screen shows a Location permission row for a future feature (store arrival reminders). As of this version, Nenapo does not request location access and does not read or use your location for anything. This row exists ahead of that feature; it currently has no effect either way.

Notifications

Similarly, Nenapo’s Notifications permission row is shown ahead of a future reminders feature. As of this version, Nenapo does not send notifications.

Children’s privacy

Nenapo does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because Nenapo does not collect information at all.

Changes to this policy

If Nenapo’s data practices change in the future — for example, if an optional sync feature is introduced — this page will be updated first, and the update will describe exactly what changes and why, before that feature is available.
